Finnskog efter Jan Andersson

Hello!
It's #tunefriday again. Time flies round! Here is a tune that I learnt up at a Scandi weekend in Tideswell, so I tend to call this the Tideswell Finskog - but I do know that the proper name is - Finnskog efter Jan Andersson. This is a Finsskog - this means that it's got a really cool rhythm.
Eight quavers in the bar arranged into three beats like this:
123 123 12
The video explains it. Enjoy.
I love this tune. :D

PS I fixed the wrong dots!

Äppelbo Gånglåt

Hello!
This week we have the very first tune I learnt on the nyckelharpa. You'd think it was a simple tune, but no I jumped straight in on this tune. I remember standing in my sisters bedroom in her flat in Sweden picking my way through the notes. I had no idea how to hold the harpa properly and just the dots for this tune in front of me. It's a timeless classic and I think we all know it!

Calle's Påsk Gånglåt

Hello!
Happy Easter! It's Good Friday, so we need a #Easter #Nyckelharpa #TuneFriday. So this is Calle's Påsk Gånglåt. (Although I just call it Calle's Gånglåt in the video). It's a tune for Moraharpa, Kontrabasharpa and of course Nyckelharpa. :D
Enjoy!

Fanteladda

Hello!
I love this little tune. It's great for starting to reach up slightly higher. Not much - but just enough to start heading up above first position. The trick with this one is the rhythm. There are three beats in the bar, but they are uneven. There are 8 quavers worth of notes and those quavers are divided up into three beats like this: 123 123 12

Watch the video - it'll become clearer there!
Enjoy
